in my defense there really isnt anything better for me to do other then make videos and go to work. Its not like its all i do is just sit here infront of the computer and watch videos. i mean.. i ... ok that is all i do.. but sometimes i check my email to see if i got any important youtube emails or porn emails.. i mean.. youtube emails. Something i have been enjoying is stumble apon its pretty much the next best thing to youtube.. google it.. its awesome!

I guess i will probably film a new video tommorow or something.

The Mystery Can Challenge

Hey guys!

I was inspired by www.theplug.net and have decided to do my own mystery can challenge. So jordan bought me 10 tin cans of food and took the lables off them. So its my job to eat all of these cans over the next 10 days. The only problem i have in countered so far is that ive some how managed to loose one of those cans in my room some where. I don't know where and i dont know how but ive managed to loose a can. I have cleaned my room and still no sign of this can.. i guess you can say.. its a mystery.. ha..ha. Anyways the next 10 days i will be opening a can a day and filming me opening and eating the cans contents. There are a few rules to mystery can put forth by the plug.net

1. Only one Mystery Can per day may be consumed for a period of TEN DAYS.
2. A Mystery Can may be eaten during any meal.
3. The eater must prepare a main course prior to opening the Mystery Can.
4. The eater must consume at least 50% of the Mystery Can's contents.
5. The purchaser of a Mystery Can must notify the eater of any specific cooking instructions (i.e. adding water if condensed).
6. Shaking a Mystery Can prior to opening is not only allowed; it is encouraged.
7. Foods unknown to the eater will be revealed after he or she consumes the Mystery Can's contents.

I will also be posting my thoughts on the cans right here on my blog well i make this sort of documentary type video.

sleep walking

So the other day my mom got this step counter in a pack of crystal light and she gave it to me. Im not really into health and fitness that much so i wasn't sure what to do with it. Eventually i found something i could do with it. Im the kind of guy who move around alot when i sleep. I figgured i could attach this little dudad to my ankle when i went to bed and when i woke up i could find out how much i moved around and how many steps that would be like.

So i attached it to my ankle as i readied for bed. I tried not to make to many movements before getting into bed so that i could get an acurate reading when i woke up.
When i woke up i discoved that i took 9 steps in my sleep.. or atleast moved my foot enough to have the counter say 9 steps. I then took 9 steps away from my bed to see how far i would have went. It was pretty far. I actually made it to the stairs down the hall from my room.

So now i know that if i was ever to sleep walk i would probably only make it to the stairs.. so im in no real danger of falling down the stairs.

Its been awhile

hey ive been gone for a long time sorry!
i just havnt had time to update on here. but i guess i have a bit of time to update things now.

So i finally got to film a new video its been awhile i know.. but its all good. I did have some lighting problems on my cameras lcd screen it looked good but when i put it on the computer it looked really orange but half way threw it seemed ok. I have a good idea for the next fixing things with mattg its going to be awesome! :D.

This week me and jordan were sposed to film some ideas we had. Then yesterday my boss had me work friday and tuesday which took away two days of filming. Then i had wednsday and thursday to film but that didnt work out eather because i have a dentist apointment on wednsday so GAHH!! anyways at least we might get one video done. I still have a few videos i havnt uploaded to youtube yet. But im saving those for a primere type thing that i guess im doing in here in my town. I think we just need 2 more videos for it. I will upload them THE second i get the chance to after this primere thing.

Last weekend i bought the new mitch headburg cd (rip) and i still havnt gotten to listen to it all and its driving me crazy!! but i did get a chance to watch the flight of the conchords first season dvd :) its amazing. id say its my new favorite show. My favorite episode is the last one as it guest stars demetri martin. :D:D. I think im going to go put the cd on my ipod and watch some tv before work.

A sad state of affairs

its really a sad state of affairs when some people are so dense that when confronted with a video titled " my cat plays rockband" they click it expecting to see a cat playing the drums.. or even guitar. They get mad when its not a real video.Then they leave such lousy not thought threw hate comments to cover up there embarrassment and disappointment. BUT! Usually when most people with a decent working brain see a title like that.. there brain starts working and the realize that cats.. having no thumbs wouldn't be able to pick up a drum stick let alone a guitar and strum it. After there brain had worked that threw they ether click it and expect to see a fake video or a cat chewing on a drum stick. So i was surprised to see 70% of the comments on my new video were lousy hate comments. I thought that most people who would see it had a decent brain that could calculate simple things like the ability's and limitations of a cats paws.oh well its all good.

train vs stuff!

So today we experimented with things on the train tracks. We put a crushed can , a key ring, and some spare change on the track (better there then given to the homeless). We waited the long wait for a train to come and when it finally smooshed it.. it was a glorious moment in time! We lost some of the stuff in the dark so i have to go back there tomorrow to find it.

The Art Of Dumpster Diving

The other day at work I was asked to crush down cardboard in the cardboard dumpster as there was alot of boxes in it so it was really full. So what i did was climb up on the edge and jump in.

The thing i didn't take into consideration was that it was only piled up on one side. So as soon as i jumped in there was like a rock slide of cardboard making me slide all the way under most of the cardboard.Another thing i didnt think about was BEES!@!!!!!

there was alot of bees inside the dumpster. and i was trapped inside every time i tried to climb out i went deeper under it all. So i really was in a predicament and for some reason i couldnt stop taking pictures of everything that was happening. Finally after i put my phone away i managed to struggle my way out of the dumpster with out angering the bees. Im not sure if im alergic to them but i thought that it might not be the right day to find out.

So basically when your asked to crush down card board.
1) Check to make sure the cardboard is evenly distributed in the dumpster
2) Make sure theres no bees
3) Always have a spotter incase your stuck if not that make sure a life guard is on duty
4) Look before you leap
5)If you cant swim wear water wings
6) if your getting sucked in relax struggling only pulls you in deeper

hey guys!
Halloween is fast approaching. I think it might be time i make some halloween style videos. I have a few good ideas. I will probably start filming them next week if i have time possibly friday or saturday.

So continuing with the halloween talk i have 98% of my costume done for halloween its going to be awesome!

i posted a vlog today! OMG!! yea i know its been a long time since ive done one of those in a long time mainly because there not exciting for me to do at all! but today i had some fun with it... so more possibly?

WORK!!

I know ive just started this update but its taken me so long. i actually started around 9 its 9 25 and ive gotten only this far? haha well thats because ive been playing twisted metal its really really adicting, now i have to go to the bathroom. ok im back now. So i went live again today the turn out was alright. It was short notice so its all good. So the feed back on my new video is pretty good im glad people seem to enjoy it i was kind of worried they would get pissed that its not a vlog like the so very much want.. but i shan't deliver as they are so boring to make! Thats what people don't understand. I have way to much fun editing videos. So anyways its great that this video is getting good feed back because it will pave the way for my next video that im currently writing, it will give me a chance to kind of direct what i want people to see. WHICH IS AWESOME :D.

OMG today i got my bike fixeddd :D which is awesome because i loves my bike. I took it for a test run all the way to walmart where i bought some goodies for an upcoming video which should be awesome because it will be my first video where i will be "in costume" so to speek. ITS ALL VERY EXCITING!

hey guys!
so the other day i went live it was a pretty good turn out i got like 70 viewers which is sweet :D. Going live from time to time is fun. I like to do it when i have nothing else to do. I will probably never have a schedule for that because i dont want to be bonded to a commitment of sitting infront of my camera talking to people on the internet if i have something to do like hanging out with people/filming/work. Not like you guys are important enough but i do have a life outside of blogtv and youtube.

So on monday my boss comes up to me with this heavy ass box and is like these need to go in the garbage. So i take it outside and look in the box.. and there is like 10000 posters. So insted of throwing them out i stash most of them away to take home :D so now i have like 40 promotional posters for kfc/taco bell. So many i dont know what to do with. So i think i might try to see if i can cover one wall completely in posters, that should be interesting.

weekend update!

hey so just as i thought i didnt get to update yesterday but thats cool because im here to update now.. with a few pictures for you guys!

So... saturday
Me and rachel went to the mall and i bought some need jeans and a sweet game for my psp! Then after much looking i finally found something to send to mradam88.. actually its 2 things haha. After we went to the mall we headed on over to pet smart and looked at the kittys!

This little guy was probably my favorite of all the kittys there i dont know why he was just really friendly.

OH then we saw this invisible kitty.

THEN SUNDAY CAME!!.. not a whole lot happened me and rachel saw some hot air balloons taking off!
i dont think i could ever go up in one.. just the thought of a sack of cloth being held up by fire and me in a wicker basket doesn't seem right.. or safe

Phoneless day

Cleaning the grease trap

So today was my phoneless day. I had to go most of the day with out my cell phone because it broke and they took it to get fixed (and it definitely didn't but it works now). But the whole day i was wondering what kind of text messages i was getting threw out the day. I was so disconnected from the whole world.. no escape from the hell that i call work. I didn't even have the time readily available to me at work. Which was awful because my phone is like my best friend/watch/music player/camera/ paper weight. He is all of those things and more.

So i went to whole day with out it and thats why i dont have a really cool picture to show you.. just a picture from the other week when i cleaned the grease trap. Just think.. if i had a my phone i could have had a really cool picture of my blister popping in the freezer or me loosing chunks of skin some where at work possibly well i was making food.

So my When my parents went to go get my phone fixed they took it too the sorce which is where they got it and it was a week over the warrentee so they couldnt do it. So they broght it back to me. When i got it back i got like 8 text messages and when i went to reply the buttons that were broken were no longer broken which is weird.. but awesome!

Because i didn't get to london today i finished editing my new video that i might upload sometime next week. Its my first psycological thriller. Im hoping it will be well recieved with the audience :). Im not sure if i will be posting toomorrow because i will be at rachels soo... if i dont then im sorry!

Flat tire + New video

So Yesterday afternoon i jumped on my bike and got ready to head to work when something wasnt right.. i was going at full speed. i look down and my rim was on the ground and my tire was flat. So this morning i woke up extra early to walk my bike to 7-11 to get some air... so 30 min of walking and i get there. i put the air in my tire and i go inside to get some breakfast and i buy the most awesome honey bun ive ever tasted for $1.25. So i come out and hop on my bike and i got the same sensation as yesterday rim hit the floor. So then i walked the rest of the way to work and i guess tomorrow i have to walk up to wal mart to get a new innertube which sucks but oh well.

So the other day i was in a certain store.. i wont give any names.. lets just call it seven hundred and 11. I saw they had this new energy drink and it comes in a test tube. i read the package and it says you have to be 18 years old to buy it and it has 300 mg of caffeine. I do believe i will be buying one and it might inspire me to make a video haha we will see :).

hey guys im really sorry. but Ive been at work a lot lately so i haven't had to do many updates.

im in search of a present for mradam88 because he has sent me an awesome shirt and cow. Its going to have to match the awesomeness.

Besides work i have made a deal with a local business and they are willing to screen some videos me and my friend are working on to the locals. Im pretty excited for this. when we screen them they are going to be directors cuts so people will be seeing them the way they were meant to be seen. So eventually when i upload them to youtube i will have to edit them down for content and possibly time.

I feel like ive been spending tooo much time on the internet. The computer is becoming quite annoying and i feel like ive seen everything the internet has to offer. I would like to do something to become more interactive with the people who enjoy my videos i just dont know what to do. possibly a forum?

thats really all i have to update about right now. i really need more time off work to develop some video ideas.

This cat was in some trees in a gully, which was part of somebodys backyard.. i think we named it
mixmasterfluff

This was a dog wandering by a creek. Its owner was following it but secretly i claimed it and named it. I named it Blacky.

This was a cat we found one day well walking to mini golf. I do believe we named it Pancho. We hung out with it for about 45 minutes to try and find it a home.

This mouse kind of snuck up on us well we were walking. Im not sure if its a mouse or a mole.. because its eyes are closed and you know the saying about moles.. there blind... so i just wasnt sure but i will call it a mouse. I think we named it Squeek .

Bowling like grandma

So this past weekend i went bowling.. more then once! i rekindled my love for bowling. I also learned a few things about my self.. like oh i dont know.. i cant bowl properly. I am condemned to bowling like my grandmother. Yes thats right, MattG bowls like grandma.

The art of bowling like an old lady has been proven to work better then bowling normally (for me at least). Its tricky to actually get the hang of but basically what you want to do to achieve best results is to bend over and squat as much as possible.. so your closest to the ground. Then once you have that. you want to position the ball not in the middle .. but slightly to the side (THIS IS KEY). Then once you have that your going to want to roll the ball i find the slower you roll the ball the better results you will get. Just dont roll the ball too slow.. i got my ball stuck half way down thats how hardcore i am when it comes to bowling.

Now how is this better then bowling "the normal way"? well i have discovered that when you just whip the ball down the lane with reckless abandon you have no control of the ball. It flys down the lane and right into the gutter 80% of the time ( a statistic i made up for this post). Also you risk the danger of having your finger stuck in the hole and getting ripped off. Then crashing into the floor and cracking the ball and damaging the floor. Now when you roll the ball gently you have all the control in the world. You even have time to wiggle your hand at the ball if it starts to stray off in the wrong direction as if to push the ball with your mind towards the pins. Also you can play another game where you race the ball well its rolling towards the pins you try and get back to your seat before it can knock over any pins.
